Our new Lengthsman, Gary, has now started doing some work for us. He has cut back much of the over-hanging foliage and nettles that were blocking some of the more well used public footpaths, particularly the one from Northern Avenue/Turnpike Close, all the way through to the end of Town Lane and the exit out onto the A59.
He has kept our new planters fed and watered, done some litter picking and cut and strimmed the cycle track and some of the verges.
Gary has also re-planted the tyres at the end of Liverpool Old Road and given them a lick of paint and repaired the vandalised gate at the cycle track. Gary has cleared all the planters of the fading summer plants in the planters and getting them ready for the winter plants and spring bulbs
